Negotiation playbook

You do not need 15 bookcases. Treat this as a priority queue: message the top few, and the first great deal that lands is the one you take. Everything else is backup.
Cash + immediate pickup is your universal lever. Open every message with "I can come any day from Monday onwards, whatever suits you, cash in hand." Offering to work around the seller's schedule reads as certain and easy. Sellers discount for certainty and speed far more than for a good argument.
Do NOT haggle the rock-bottom ones. The $5 IKEA (16x80, your exact shape), the $10 Eastlake, and the free x2 are grab-now, not negotiate. Message the $5 IKEA first, it will not last.
Push hardest where you have real leverage: the $35 "fair" Billy (cite condition, aim high-$20s), the $20 OBO (offers invited, aim ~$16), the stale 11-week $20 Billy (aim $15), and the overpriced small $30 1ft shelf (aim $22 or skip).
